Besides Trafalga and Eustass, we’ve got another version of Luffy, this time, in a denim vest that matches his trunks. The vest gives Luffy a more rugged appearance, the developers painted a layer of varnish and tinted the blue with yellow to create the stone washing effect. Coming with Trafalga is Luffy, the captain of the straw hats. Since that cheeful looking hat became his trademark, he couldn’t trade it for anything. On anyone else with a cape, the straw hat would look ridiculous, but not on Luffy. Never on Luffy. Grandline Men is about masculinity, doesn’t Luffy look the perfect conqueror here? (more…)
